One of the most beautiful films about friendship, in its purest and most delicate sense despite the environment in which a prison takes place, but it does not stop touching the sensitivity of the viewer for everything that surrounds, support, listen, trust, the bases and pillars of a good friendship.
It is difficult for me to describe friendship, because I do not know it in that pure sense, but the first time I saw the movie, I knew immediately that that was a beautiful story about it, because it reminded me of beautiful friendship stories that I had enjoyed and that perhaps due to the distance I did not know how to maintain, but of which not a day has passed, in which I have not remembered them.
I remember the magic or the special chemistry that arises between two people, who establish a complicity beyond logic or reason, because it does not attend to circumstances that can be described with words, why is our best friend and is not another person? could someone explain it? I think I could summarize it and for me the explanation is very simple, because it makes our hearts happy. In the environment in which the film takes place where each of the characters tries to survive in that hostile environment where the only thing left for them is to be able to find support, in the other. The protagonist, an educated, cold and reserved person, but whose coldness hides a great heart, finds his support in that man, not educated but wise, that wisdom that the years give and more those that have passed in prison, where one has a lot of time to think and with that open character and easy treatment with people, which makes life in prison easier for him, as two people so different in character come to establish a true friendship, he does not attend to reasons other than those that his heart rejoices with your company.
The other great theme of this magnificent film, hope and the importance of never losing it, since it is what will keep us alive despite any circumstance. When the other protagonist is about to lose her, he will find the other hidden secret of his friend, that freedom does not depend on where one is, but is inside each one.
